2010 Synod Convention Worship Resources

Gathered under the theme, "Rooted in Christ, Clothed with Joy," our Synod Convention worship reflected the theme in its focus on the Psalm 30 and Colossians 2:6-7 texts. Delegates, guests and visitors to the June 3-6, 2010 Synod Convention at the University of Alberta - Augustana Campus in Camrose worshipped in the chapel at Augustana and in the assembly hall combining the worship and work of the Synod.


The following are the worship orders for the Convention: Opening Eucharist, Evening Prayer (with Remembrance of the Faithful Departed), Morning Eucharist (Friday and Saturday), Prayer and Healing Around the Cross - Beneath the Tree of Life, the Cross of Christ, and Closing Eucharist. Many of the hymns were from Evangelical Lutheran Worship. Other musical resources are available by contacting Rev. Dr. Larry Kochendorfer, Assistant to the Bishop, through the Synod Office.
