Job Type: One Year Contract with possible extension (current minister on extended sick leave)

Job Description
· Team with our pastor in planning and conducting worship
· Respond to congregational needs under the supervision of our pastor
· Help plan, coordinate and implement youth activities
· Outreach to youth and their families of all ages
· Act as a resource for Sunday School, confirmation, Bible studies
· Offer support to music ministry depending on gifts in this area
· Utilise skills in audio-visual techniques for worship
· Attend and contribute to church council and other board meetings
· Have an understanding of Lutheran doctrine or willingness to work with a
Lutheran perspective
· Demonstrate a desire to help people in their spiritual growth
· Build meaningful relationships with youth, families and members
· Show leadership and ability to work independently or in teams
· Exhibit the joy and love of a disciple of Christ.
· Utilise creativity and organizational skills to enhance our church as stated in our
mission statement, " Love one another in service to Christ our Lord".
