Congregational Life

Congregations celebrate God's presence in the life of their congregation through various festivals, special services, anniversaries and other events.  You are welcome to rejoice with them by viewing their description and pictures as shared below:

Celebrations in the Life of a Retired Bishop
At home we have some festivals of our own:  the end of planting; the end of daily watering; a turn to a puzzle worked on jointly; a glass of wine; a date with friends; choir or Inn From The Cold; family visits; maybe a sail here and there; a few more funerals; annual graduations from somewhere or other; the end of confirmations this year in the immediate family; a visit from Erik or Andraea or Aviva, on their own, and the rest who come with a parent; Theatre Calgary with Wiegerts; lunches with Hansons; more things to do than you can shake a stick at, more time to name for ourselves than ever before - as you can imagine by this doodle.  Festivals?  No end to celebration and accompanying festivals in our life.  And let all say Amen!  Kyrie Eleison.   +Telmor

Valentine's Day Sock Hop at Hope Lutheran, Edmonton
Congregational members of all ages and their friends and family attended a potluck supper which was followed by a family dance.  The highlight was the hoola hoop contest.
